About Milla Mac
My story
A conversation with my niece when she was being treated for leukemia helped me make a decision - it was time to pursue a long held desire to be more creative. Milla Mac is a thank you to her for helping me make that decision and to create simple and affordable designs for silver and gold vermeil jewellery that can be worn and enjoyed for any occasion.
Elegant simplicity
Why silver as the main metal? I love it's elegant simplicity - rings, bangles and pendants can be worn with any outfit and my designs are meant to capture that. Jewellery should be worn and enjoyed, not hidden in a box or drawer!
As the business has grown, I've had a lot of requests for my designs in gold. As a result, I am now making all designs available in gold vermeil - if a price is not listed against a design you like, please ask and I will quote a price for you.
Hand made
There is something incredibly satisfying in having something that's been made by hand - I find the process of creating each piece, whether it be a ring, bangle or pendant, hugely rewarding knowing that it'll be enjoyed for years to come by those who are wearing it. All my pieces are made with 925 Sterling silver and then plated with gold if you would like the vermeil option..
